About Our Company
In 1976, Jerry Welch
began a small upholstery shop in the basement of his home in
Hannibal, Missouri. By the mid 1980s, Welch's Custom
Upholstery outgrew it's original location and moved operations to an
industrial site. Continued growth led to a second relocation
and a change in name that more closely mirrored expanded product
offerings. In 1987, American Decor began operations in its
14,000 square foot facility in downtown Hannibal, offering custom
blinds, shades and draperies as well as pipe and welded frame
awnings for residential and commercial applications. American
Decor has continued to grow, transitioning from a retailer of
prefabricated products to a state of the art manufacturer of
beautiful and affordable custom internal and external window
treatments.
American Decor is a Subscriber to the Reed Construction Report on Prevailing Wage Jobs in IL, IA, and MO.
