Product Warranty and Color Match Policy

Warranty Info

American Decor strives to manufacture every product within our strict quality standards. Before any American Decor product leaves our manufacturing facility, it is quality tested by one of our experienced staff to ensure that it is free from defect.

American Decor Wood Blinds, Honeycomb Shades, Roller Shades and Vertical Blinds are warranted against defect in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product, providing the product was exclusively assembled by American Decor, was properly installed, and was in no manner altered or repaired by a non-authorized individual or organization. This warranty does not include any conditions or damages resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse or failure to follow printed instructions on installation, care, and cleaning, or repair. The warranty also does not apply to conditions resulting from normal wear and tear.

Motorized components on blinds or shades are warranted from defect as indicated above for a period of 5 years from the original date of purchase.

Awning fabrics are warranted by the specific fabric brand's original manufacturer warranty.

This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other obligations, liabilities or warranties. In no event shall American Decor or its licensed distributors be liable for incidental or consequential damages, or for any other damage, loss or expense, or cost of fee associated with such damages, where applicable by state law. American Decor will make warranted repairs free of charge to customers. The customer is responsible for the shipping charge to American Decor, while American Decor will pay return shipping after repairs have been made. Customers shipping an American Decor product should ensure that the product is packaged with enough padding and a sturdy shipping box to ensure that damage does not occur during the shipping of the product. It is recommended that the customer insures the shipment for the value of the product.

American Decor does not accept returns of products that have been mismeasured by the customer. It is the responsibility of the customer to use our easy measuring chart to ensure proper measurements.

 

Color Match Policy

Computer images have inherent limitations, and true color duplication on a computer monitor is not precise. Further, individual's computer settings vary, further limiting the absolute accuracy of sample images. American Decor has shown paint and stain coloration and wood grain as accurately as is allowed in an electronic format. However, if an exact match to a color or pattern is required, American Decor asks customers to request a product sample prior to placing final product orders. American Decor cannot refund or exchange custom manufactured products based on paint/stain coloration, but is happy to ensure the customer receives a free product sample to ensure a true color match.

Wood grain patterns vary with individual pieces of wood. All samples reflect the general style of each wood grain. American Decor wood products are made of solid wood, not a wood laminate, and thus wood grain varies.
